What is Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi? How ı can get Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi?
For foreigners, a certificate of settlement – “Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi” is required for many transactions they will carry out in Turkey. The settlement certificate can be obtained very easily through e-devlet in a few steps. The certificate of settlement is a document showing the location of the address of the foreign person and also, most importantly, the certificate of settlement is required in residence permit extension applications.
People use the settlement certificate to show that they have address records. People who do not have a settlement certificate cannot open a bank account, enroll their children in school, make transactions in state institutions and most importantly, they cannot make residence and residence permit extension transactions.

How to Obtain a Certificate of Settlement?
The settlement certificate – Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi , which is one of the documents required for a residence permit, can be obtained very easily via e-Devlet. The person must log in to the e-Devlet. After logging in to e-Devlet, the search button is written and searched for “Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi”. Click on “Yerleşim Yeri (İkametgah) ve Diğer Adres Belgesi Sorgulama(Nüfus ve Vatandaşlık İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü)” that appears in the first place. From the screen that appears, the box “I have read the above information letter” is checked and the continue button-Devam et is clicked. Select “Kendisi” from the screen that appears and click the continue button. The place where the document will be submitted is “Kuruma İbraz” and continue by writing “Göç İdaresi” in the Institution name section below. From the screen that appears, click on the Download PDF, download file button and obtain the “settlement document – Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi” as PDF.
Note: The method described here is not suitable for phones. It will be easier to download this document using a computer. However, “Certificate of Settlement – Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi” can also be obtained over the phone.
