Family Residence Permit Required Documents

Documents for the Applicant:

1-Documents Required by the Applicant

1-Residence Permit Application Form

In terms of family residence permit required documents, the residence permit application form must be signed by the applicant. For residence permit applications, an online pre-application and registration must first be created on the website of the immigration administration(Göç İdaresi). The form given to us as a result of the application made through the website of the immigration administration(Göç idaresi) is the residence permit application form. The form will not be filled in manually, it will be printed from the system as a result of the online application

2-Passport

# Copy of a passport or a document that replaces a passport

3-Photographs

4 (four) biometric photographs
Must be a photo taken in the last 6 months. The back must be white. While applying for a residence permit, the system also asks you to upload a digital photograph. You must have a biometric photo in a digital environment

4-Documents showing that the residence fee and card fee have been paid.

After the family residence permit application is made online through the immigration administration(Göç idaresi) website, the system gives you an accrual number and with this number the residence permit fee and card fee must be paid. After the payment is made, you must put the payment receipt among the application documents and submit it to the immigration office on the appointment day.

2024 ikamet card fee 565 Turkish Liras and İkamet tax fee (residence permit fee) is around 2000 Turkish Liras. İt is varies according to countries.

Note: For citizens of some countries, a single entry visa fee is also required due to bilateral agreements and the principle of reciprocity. However, the system does not give a warning to people who are asked for a single entry visa fee while applying for a residence permit, and generally people go to their appointments at the immigration office without paying the single entry fee. When making the application, attention should be paid to which country you are a citizen of and accordingly, the single entry fee should be paid if necessary.

Example: Russian citizens do not pay a single entry fee, while Brazilian citizens have to pay a single entry fee. The single entry fee can be paid by going to the temporary tax office or from Ziraat Bank, Halkbank banks.

5-Marriage certificate or a photocopy of the document that proves being married

Required by guarantor’s spouse.

Photocopy of the first 3 pages containing the information.
If the marriage certificate is to be obtained from Turkey, it can be taken from The Provincial Population Directorates(Nüfus Müdürlüğü).

For the documents received from the Turkish authorities, it is sufficient to have a signed or get from e-devlet.

However, notarized translation and apostille must be approved for marriage certificates received from foreign authorities.

6-Document that proves who the child’s parents are

Family residence permit required documents; Documents required if the applicant is a child (Minor Child or Dependent Child of the guarantor and the guarantor’s spouse)

If the parents of the child can be identified from the passport or the document that replaces the passport, the photocopy of the passport or the document that replaces the passport.

Note: If these documents have been obtained from within the country, they may be signed or claret red. however, if it is obtained from abroad, it must have a notarized translation and apostille approval.

2-GUARANTOR REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1-Guarantor Documents

GUARANTOR;
A) If the guarantor is a Turkish Citizen

*Family residence permit required documents Copy of identity card and ID must be with you on the appointment day.
B) If the guarantor is a foreigner
* Photocopy of passport or passport substitute document
*Copy of residence permit, work permit, blue card, refugee or subsidiary protection identity documentseading

2-Statement that you have sufficient and regular financial means during your stay.

The total income of the guarantor, who will be granted a Family Residence Permit, must not be less than the minimum wage in any case and must have at least 1/3 of the minimum wage for each member of the family. (Minimum: 17002 TL – 1/3 of the minimum wage. : 5667.3 TL )

Example: The guarantor must not have a total income of less than 17002 TL in any case. However, for a family consisting of parents and two children, there must be a minimum income of 5667.3*4 =22669.3 TL.

Note: It should not be forgotten that the numbers mentioned here are at least the desired numbers. When applying for a residence permit, a foreigner must convince the state from which he/she wants a residence permit that he/she does not have any economic problems while staying in Turkey. From this point of view, showing that you do not have any problems in terms of economic situation and that your income is high is a situation that will be in your favor in the residence application.

How is Proof of Income Level Made?

Individuals must have income according to the above-mentioned conditions. The fact that a person works in a place with a salary and has a regular income has an important place in the proof of income. The person can prove their income level by submitting the payslip to the immigration administration.

If the person has money in the bank, he can prove his income by submitting the bank account statement to the immigration administration.
In addition, if the person has an income-generating immovable, real estate is accepted in the income from it

3-Health insurance covering all family members.

4-Criminal record

It should cover the last 5 years. If you have been staying in Turkey for the last 5 years, the criminal record obtained from e-government or judicial authorities is valid.

If you do not stay in Turkey for 5 years, then you need to request a criminal record certificate from your country for the missing years, and this document must be translated and notarized after the apostille approval.

5-Document that it is registered to the address registration system.

Required documents for family residence permit are the place of residence document that must be understood from the address registration system. The document obtained via e-devlet is sufficient. its name is “Yerleşim Yeri Belgesi”

A copy of the title deed if you live in your own home. If you are renting, the lease contract made at the notary.

If the family resides with the 3rd person in the documents required for the residence permit, the 3rd person’s undertaking. If the person staying with him is married, the notary approval of the spouse of this person is also required.
