Residence Permit

short term residence permit is a type of residence that foreigners can obtain if they want to stay in Turkey for visa exemption, visa period or more than 3 months.

Residence permit is a permit issued for foreigners who want to stay in Turkey. give foreigners the right to live in a certain time and place within the borders of Turkey. Residence permit does not replace a work permit, foreigners who want to work in Turkey must obtain a work permit.

How is the residence permit fee paid?
1–Online payment
2-Payment by going to the tax office

we log in to the interactive tax office website–> You can enter the “harç ve değerli kağıt bedeli ödeme(Payment of fees and valuable paper fee)” section under the Hızlı Ödeme (Quick payments)section–> You can pay by credit card from there by clicking on the “göç idaresi ikamet tezkeresi harcı ödeme(Payment of Immigration Administration Residence Permit Fee)” tab on the screen that appears.

Documents Required for Short-Term Residence Permit (common):
1- Residence Permit Application Form Printout
2- Passport or copy of Document Used as Passport
3- Four (4) Biometric Photographs
4- Statement of Having Sufficient and Regular Financial Possibilities for the Period of Stay
5- Documents/Receipts Showing Payment of Residence Fee and Card Fee
6- Health insurance
7- Document showing that it is registered in the Address Registration System
8- Document showing the place of stay
