1- Certificate of Conformity (Uygunluk belgesi) – Sent to your email address by the Regional Directorate of Land Registry. A printout of the verification page from the e-Devlet system must also be obtained.
2- Passport Translation and Original Passport – The original passport must be presented on the appointment day. The translation must be sworn and notarized.
3- 4 Biometric Photographs – 2 photographs are sufficient for children.
4- Birth Certificate or Civil Registry Record – The document must include the applicant’s mother’s and father’s names, date of birth, and place of birth – MUST BE APOSTILLED.
5- Child’s Birth Certificate – Required for children included in the application. It must state the mother’s and father’s names, date of birth, and place of birth – MUST BE APOSTILLED.
6- Criminal Record Certificate – Must be issued within the last 6 months and be up to date – MUST BE APOSTILLED.
7- Marriage Certificate / Family Book – MUST BE APOSTILLED.
If the investor is applying alone, a marital status certificate is also required. If divorced, divorce documents; if widowed, the spouse’s death certificate must be provided. These documents MUST ALSO BE APOSTILLED.
8- Receipt of Citizenship Service Fee Payment – Proof that the service fee has been paid to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
9- Photocopies of All Documents – Photocopies must not be stapled.
10- Residence Permit Approval – The physical residence permit card is not required; however, you must have at least a 6-month valid residence permit.
11- Power of Attorney – Must be certified as a true copy. Not required for applicants who apply without a lawyer.
12- VAT-4 Application Form – Must be completed carefully, paying attention to all letters; it is recommended to fill it out electronically. Separate forms must be completed for the investor and the spouse; no separate form is required for children. Children must be listed on both forms.
13- Appointment with the Citizenship Directorate – An appointment must be scheduled with the Population and Citizenship Affairs Directorate.

✅ Note 1: Originals of all documents must be submitted during the citizenship application.
✅ Note 2: All documents must be translated by a sworn translator in Türkiye and notarized. Even translations approved by a Turkish Consulate must be re-translated in Türkiye.
✅ Note 3: If the investor’s spouse will not apply, he/she must provide a notarized consent letter for the child included in the application. Additionally, children under the age of 12 are not required to be physically present at the Population Directorate during the application.
✅ Note 4: If you are not represented by a lawyer and do not speak Turkish, a sworn translator must be present during the application process.
